CAN I GET A SAME-DAY APPOINTMENT? DO YOU OFFER WALK-IN CLINIC SERVICES?

We do not offer walk-in services. You must make an appointment for certifications and re-certifications. To make an appointment, please call us at 410-924-3077. We'd be happy to schedule your appointment for you.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY CERTIFICATION APPOINTMENT?

You will need a photo ID and some type of proof of your medical condition. Proof can include medical records, pill bottles, x-rays, prescriptions, medical provider notes, etc.

ARE YOUR SERVICES COVERED BY MY INSURANCE?

Unfortunately, Insurance companies do not cover the cost of your Medical Cannabis Certification in Maryland. As well, they will not cover costs associated with the purchase of Medical Cannabis. 

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Chesapeake Integrative Medicine is located at 10 S. Hanson Street, Suite 15 in Easton, Maryland. Take a look at the Street View or Map View of our office.

WHO IS LICENSED TO CERTIFY ME AT CHESAPEAKE INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE?

Owners April Motovidlak MS, ACNP-BC and Michele Williams DNP, AGPCNP-BC are both licensed to certify Medical Cannabis Patients.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?

We are open Monday-Friday by appointment only.

WHAT ARE THE WARNINGS ASSOCIATED WITH MEDICAL CANNBIS?

The  most significant side effects or risks associated with the use of cannabis:

  • Consumption of medical cannabis may impair your ability to drive a car or operate machinery. Please use extreme caution.

  • There may be health risks associated with cannabis use, especially during pregnancy or breast-feeding.

  • Accidental consumption of cannabis by children or animals may result in severe adverse reactions. Keep cannabis out of the reach of children and animals.

The Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission develops policies, procedures, and regulations to implement programs that ensure medical cannabis is available to qualifying patients in a safe and effective manner. The Commission oversees all licensing, registration, inspection, and testing measures pertaining to Maryland’s medical cannabis program and provides relevant program information to patients, physicians, growers, dispensaries, processors, testing laboratories and caregivers.

The MMCC has issued medical cannabis Dispensary pre-approvals to 102 companies. As each Dispensary is established and licensed, their locations will be posted on the MMCC website under.  Click here to view.
